Andrews Securities was formed in August, 2008 through a sale of the broker-dealer from its former owner, Keating Investments, to Jeff Andrews. Mr. Andrews had been running the broker-dealer as Keating Securities, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Keating Investments, since 2003. The broker-dealer that is now Andrews Securities was originally purchased by Keating Investments in 2001. As an integral part of Keating Investments and its “turnkey solution” for emerging growth companies seeking a public listing through an alternative to an IPO, the broker-dealer has assisted more than a dozen companies as either a placement agent or a financial advisor. The firm has been a lead placement agent, a participating dealer, or an advisor in greater than $125MM of total financings in the past five years, usually in the form of Private Placements for companies that are either already public or are going public through an alternative to an IPO.
